Headway Introduces 24/7 Gold Trading Instruments

On July 22, global broker Headway announced the launch of two gold-backed stablecoins, PAXG and Tether Gold (XAU₮). Both assets are available for trading on real accounts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Unlike traditional gold instruments, PAXG and Tether Gold can be traded during weekends as well as regular market hours. Traders don't have to wait for markets to reopen on Monday if a major event affects gold prices over the weekend. They can also trade when it suits their schedule.

Each token is backed by physical gold at a 1:1 ratio. One PAXG token and one Tether Gold token each correspond to the value of one ounce of gold. This gives traders exposure to gold through instruments that also offer the round-the-clock access associated with digital assets.
